Amanda Alexander, the sister of Britney Spear's first husband Jason Alexander has reported to the media that
she has witnessed Britney Spears taking ecstasy and cocaine in their hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana.

Another acquaintance of Britney's from Kentwood, Kent Smith, said: "I've known Britney at least 10 years. She does like to party hard. I've been there when she's done ecstasy and cocaine."

There are reports in the media that it was Britney's drug use that caused her split from husband Kevin Federline.
